So I lied. I shall continue with this livejournal begrudgingly in spite of the part of me that cringes at doing so.
I bought a yoga mat and DVD today. ...Suppress the laughter. I'm excited to start---I am going to try it out after I finish this post.
I still miss Italy and still wish I could go baackkkkk. Someday I am going to buy a one-way ticket and give tours for a living. "And over here to your left are Mario and Luigi, jumping up to hit their heads on blocks so that coins or mushrooms or one-ups come out. And over there on your right-hand side is a statue of a famous Italian, Tony Ziti. Tony Ziti is an important man in Italian history, because he freed the people from the evil dictator Angelo Rigatoni, who made them pay unfair taxes on things like Olive Oil and Spaka La facha. Si. Oh, he was such a bad man. The people were overjoyed when the new leader came into power, a man named Insalata Mista."
I've been into baking/cooking lately. I made Meghan from work a cherry pie and Kip an apple one. I also made an asortment of muffins for Shana's fam and my own. I'm gonna go to my grandma's next week to learn how to make a billion Polish food items. yesssssss. Then I'll make an entire meal with only foods that end with -ski or -pki or -shki or -gi. Man the Polish language is one of the most hideous ever to have been invented.
Oh so I'm changing my major. Still going to do student teaching this fall for speech for a few reasons--1) I am not going to have enough time to apply to go away to school, so I'd rather not just work at the Fabric Establishment full time (gagggg), 2) I might as well get my degree and teacher certification just because I can. 3) It will be fun to play with the kids without the stress of really worrying about if I am or will be a good speech therapist. So I'm going to apply for grad programs in something psychology/social work related. Definetly away from the Binghamton area. I need a breath of fresh air.
Random:
I decided that learning is to have complete destruction of what you think you know accompanied by the process of replacing those illusions with the truth.
Therefore I think that the more people learn the more open they should be to the fact that what they think is true is really very unstable...because at any minute they could discover something that will replace it.
I shall now go attempt to do yoga for the first time in my life. I hope that I love it.
